Marcus Vick arrested for DUI in Forsyth County

Posted by Richard Lawson | Jan 02, 2014 | 0 Comments

Marcus Vick, brother of former Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick was arrested this week in Forsyth County, Georgia after a traffic stop.  He was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, driving without a license, and driving with expired registration.

Vick, 29, was stopped by law enforcement around 2 a.m., while driving a Lexus SUV.  Investigators found a large amount of cash, but no drugs.  Marcus Vick is a resident of west Forsyth County.

He told officers that he and his passenger, a 31-year old male, had smoked marijuana earlier before they were stopped.

Marcus Vick had also been a football star in his own right as he has previously played football while at Virginia Tech and also a brief stint in the National Football League (NFL).

He was being held at the Forsyth County Detention Center on a $4130 bond. DUI Drugs is a more serious charge than DUI Alcohol because the license suspension is longer (6 months) and does not allow for a restricted license or permit.  It is important for Mr. Vick to hire a top-rated Forsyth County DUI Lawyer to help with his case.
