During her time working for the District Attorney's Office, Sarah gained invaluable experience assisting in a broad array of criminal cases including murder, arson, vehicular homicide, and child molestation. This experience has enabled Sarah to help navigate her clients through difficult legal challenges as she understands both sides of the process.
Attorney Sarah Illg completed her undergraduate degree at North Georgia College and State University (now known as University of North Georgia), where she received her Bachelor of Science in Forensics.
Sarah obtained her law degree from Mercer University School of Law in Macon, Georgia. Sarah was awarded the Faculty Writing Achievement Award for her academic success in Legal Writing, and was awarded a Cali Certificate in Legal Research, Legal Writing and Criminal Procedure; this Cali Certificate was a symbol that she earned the highest grade in her class. Sarah graduated Cum Laude, in the top 15% of her class in May, 2017.
After sitting for the Bar in July, 2017, Sarah transitioned into her role as an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Richard Lawson in October, 2017.
