Beginning with the moment the Department of Driver Services (DDS) received notice that you were charged with a DUI, the clock began ticking.  The countdown results in an automatic license suspension for you and the possibility you will not be able to drive yourself to work or school, or provide for your family.  You can stop or delay this automatic license suspension, but you only have THIRTY DAYS to do so.

We will file a request for a hearing on your case, along with your $150 check (the DDS fee) immediately and stop the State from suspending your driving privileges.  We will appear at the Administrative License Suspension (ALS) hearing on your behalf, allowing you to fight the suspension without taking time off from work or school or having to arrange for childcare.

We will cross-examine the officer who stopped you, getting him to testify on the record so that we will have a valuable recording of his testimony for future use.  In many cases, we can show that he had no reason to stop you. Sometimes the officer doesn't show up for the hearing at all, which means your license cannot be suspended!  In some cases, if you end up with a suspension, we can also request a restricted permit. A limited license can allow you to drive to and from work or school.
