No attorney can make every single court appearance. Attorneys have court conflicts, take vacations, take sick leave, and have family emergencies like anyone else.
Naturally, people get anxious when another attorney appears on their behalf. Rest assured we never will outsource your case to a lawyer outside our office.
All of our attorneys have a team approach. We all discuss each case and have input therein. I often see attorneys from my office in court, and clients are pleasantly surprised that I am well-informed about their cases, even though I am not lead counsel. In fact, when I cover another attorney's case from our office, I already know everything I need to know to handle the case.
That being said, we never force a client to have a substitute attorney. If you are unsettled by having another Georgia DUI Attorney from our office, please let us know. We can always request another court date.
Our goal is to make sure that all of our clients are comfortable, while receiving the highest level of customer service. Call us today if there is a legal problem for which we can help. Remember, in a Georgia DUI case, you only have 30 days to appeal your license suspension or install an ignition interlock device on your car. Otherwise, your license may be suspended for up to 12 months.
