Clayton County Man Dies after Crashing Truck into a House

Posted by Richard Lawson | May 20, 2014 | 0 Comments

A Clayton County man died Monday after crashing his truck into a house.

The man's name has not been released, but police believe he suffered from a medical condition that caused him to lose control of his vehicle and subsequently crash into the home.

The truck narrowly missed hitting two persons inside the Fielder Road home, one of which was a 3 year-old girl.

Vikki Taggart, the owner of the home, expressed relief that no one inside was hurt.

Her family is unable to currently live in the home, due to the significant damage, but Taggart realizes that things “could have been worse.”
