These days when I attend court, I realize I am no longer one of the "young lawyers." Â I have had the honor of practicing law in Georgia for 22 years. Â I have attended court in hundreds of jurisdictions throughout Metro Atlanta, Middle Georgia, and North Georgia. Â As I tell my clients, the court process is the same everywhere; yet it is different.
Georgia has changed a great deal in the past 21 years. Â It has become less rural, more educated, and more cosmopolitan. Â One thing remains constant: people are rightfully proud of their communities and culture. Â I was numb to that pride early in my career and needed to mature enough to see and respect it.
Why does this matter to me as a Lawyer?
Well, for one thing, I practice law in rural communities. Â People who live and work there are my clients, fellow attorneys, prosecutors, judges, and jurors. Â Without understanding and respect, there is no way to represent my clients effectively. Â I have learned my lesson and cringe whenever I see other lawyers barge into someone else's hometown like a bull in a china shop.
It has truly been my honor to bring my best efforts as a Georgia DUI Attorney into your community and court system. Â Thank you for always making me feel at home. Â I hope this website has been a good source for Georgia DUI Information.Â
