These days when I attend court, I realize I am no longer one of the "young lawyers." I have had the honor of practicing law in Georgia for 22 years. I have attended court in hundreds of jurisdictions throughout Metro Atlanta, Middle Georgia, and North Georgia. As I tell my clients, the court process is the same everywhere; yet it is different.
Georgia has changed a great deal in the past 21 years. It has become less rural, more educated, and more cosmopolitan. One thing remains constant: people are rightfully proud of their communities and culture. I was numb to that pride early in my career and needed to mature enough to see and respect it.
Why does this matter to me as a Lawyer?
Well, for one thing, I practice law in rural communities. People who live and work there are my clients, fellow attorneys, prosecutors, judges, and jurors. Without understanding and respect, there is no way to represent my clients effectively. I have learned my lesson and cringe whenever I see other lawyers barge into someone else's hometown like a bull in a china shop.
It has truly been my honor to bring my best efforts as a Georgia DUI Attorney into your community and court system. Thank you for always making me feel at home. I hope this website has been a good source for Georgia DUI Information.
