Child endangerment is a serious charge. In addition to the DUI charges, having child endangerment charges on her record could be used against her if she is ever in a custody battle or applies for a job working with children. What’s sad is that she might not have even been under the influence at all. Many people fail field sobriety tests due to clumsiness or nerves and she may have had a very valid reason for not wanting to perform the breath test. Hopefully she has a good DUI defense lawyer who can get some of those DUI charges reduced and keep the penalties to a minimum.
