State v. K.L.

The client was charged with DUI in Walton County Georgia.  She was slumped over the wheel passed out. She was arrested and refused testing.  She faced an administrative license suspension and the criminal prosecution.  We were able to get the administrative license suspension (the refusal) lifted after negotiating with the arresting officer.  Then, at court, we were able to get the case put into a pre-trial diversion program. This alternative sentence allowed the client to avoid a lifetime criminal record for DUI.
