State v. C.L.
October 2013
The client was charged in Cobb County State Court with DUI Marijuana. The attorney was able to convince the prosecutor to completely dismiss the DUI charge. In exchange, the client plead, under the conditional discharge stature, to possession of marijuana. The great benefit to this plea is that once he completes his conditional discharge program, the marijuana charge will also be dismissed. As a result, he has a chance at no criminal record whatsoever. That outcome is now in his hands. Either way, the DUI is gone forever. It is very rare to get a complete dismissal of a DUI charge. This will mean a great deal to his future.
